Last week the Department launched its first ever People Awards. The awards were designed to celebrate the contribution and commitment of people in the Department, as well as recognising the support from those across the University of Oxford.
The Department was thrilled to receive a Bronze Award in the recent annual Green Impact Awards, as part of the University of Oxford Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Environmental Sustainability 2023.
We were honoured to receive a gift from one of our awardees, Fata Brian Kaio, Consul General of Samoa, who had travelled over 10,000 miles and 36 hours from Samoa to attend our award ceremony in March 2023.
