Guido Bonsaver
Guido Bonsaver is Professor of Italian Cultural History at Oxford University and a Fellow of Pembroke College. His latest book is America in Italian Culture: The Rise of a New Model of Modernity, 1861-1943 (OUP, 2023). As a film critic, he has worked for years for both BBC World Radio and for the BFI magazine Sight and Sound.

Explore Rome through the lens of two iconic Italian films, Fellini’s La dolce vita (1960) and Sorrentino’s La grande bellezza (2013). Through lectures and workshops, students will learn about Italian culture while practicing their Italian.
