John Cottingham
John Cottingham is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at the University of Reading, and an Honorary Fellow of St John’s College, Oxford University. His books on early-modern philosophy include Descartes, The Rationalists, Reason Will and Sensation, Cartesian Reflections, and How to Read Descartes. He is co-translator of the standard 3-volume Cambridge edition of The Philosophical Writing of Descartes.
